Team TFS Texas Big Sister~Little Sister Program

Big Sister/Lil Sister Program

Purpose: This program is designed to unite our organization between teams. It should bring the girls closer to one another and maybe help them learn a little something about themselves.

Duration: It is an experimental program that will last throughout the summer. If this program is successful, we might extend it throughout the year or pick it up again next summer.

Expected: Each sister must do the following four activities.

1. Attend 2 of your big or little softball games. You must sit there and watch the whole game.

2. 1 practice session. This can either be going to the batting cages or taking fielding practice together. Big’s are to help their little’s with whatever they need help with.

3. 1 activity that does not have to do with softball. (Ranger game, eat dinner, zoo, get frozen yogurt, etc.)

4. Do one random act of kindness for the other. (Make a card, send flowers, drop off candy before practice, etc.)

You can do more than this, but no less. Also, this does not have to be a costly thing the important thing is to bond with one another. This is also a good time for the little’s to ask any questions to their big about high school, college prospects, future goals, etc. If you can please be have a good source to communicate with each other whether it be telephone, email, or Facebook.
